 Today we continued to present our poems.We went over 2 poems today. They were very interesting and good discussion we had to write 3 things we learned and 2 themes and 1 personal connection.Today was a chill class very good discussions. 2 tardy lock outs was not fun but made it to all my classes early thankfully.

 Today we presented our poem. We had to write the themes and connection and 3 interesting facts for each group that presented.My group presented the poem “After apple picking” it was about a person who is basically over worked and tired and just needs to take a break.  I would say my group got the class to talk the most, I liked how everyone was in gaged and contributing to what it was about.

 Today we continued to work on our poem and our personal worksheet the whole class. I ended up completing my assignment. My group are getting ready to present and tell the class about the poem we got assigned to other Thursday or Friday. We all talked as a group to get the full understanding of the poem. I really liked todays class very chill .

 Today we got assigned groups, every group got assigned a poem and a special worksheet. I was in group 1 and we got assigned the poem After picking apples my worksheet was i he to make person connections based in the poem. Mr.reeese explained how to do every worksheet and then we got started on it and tried to finish. Good overall class liked the assignment we got.

 Today we read “the road not taken” it was basically about a missed opportunity and the different roads people may take. We wrote 3 different roads we could take on the back of the paper.The first row was the “perfect route” the second was what could go wrong and finally the 3rd one was if it went wrong how would we fix it and what would be our next move. We also went around the class and heard different classmates goals. It was very interesting hearing how everyone has very different goals in life.

 Today we read the “birches” poem we underlined words and talked about what some things the poem stated meant. We also talked about what age we would think about what we are going to do in life. We talked about our special place and why it’s our special place, it was very interesting hearing everyone’s special place and why it was their special place . Overall a great lesson 

 Today we analyzed a poem “out out” we talked about it as a class and wrote notes on it. We read it thourily and you made sure we understood it. I liked how we did it as a class so everyone understood it and we talked about what we needed to do for the essay. I also liked how the hack has step by step how to write the essay

 I remover when my moms bestfriends daughter was born, it was such a beautiful moment I’ll never forget. It was very chaotic but it was worth it because at the end of it we got to meet Victoria. Thats name is so pretty to me I love it. It was beautiful seeing all her family and friends happy for her. Everyone was there so support her and see the beautiful birth of her daughter. She is now 4 and is about to turn 5 on October 11.

 Something I knew had just begun. My sister had a really short temper so whenever she’s upset it’s better to not be around her. One night after dinner she was not happy about something so she got upset she started aguín with my mom and u just knew that this was just t the start to a big argument. I tried my best to calm the situation down but it just got out of hand. My sister got grounded and everyone was just in shock of what he happened.

 Something I can’t deny is that I’m to nice and let people take advantage of that. All my friends and family say I give people the benefit of the doubt all the time which is not good. I always tend to forgive people for anything even if it hurt me a lot. My parents especially say I need to stop and put my foot down because people are taking advantage of me. I’ve taken a lot of advice and I’m working on speaking up.

 Today we worked on a worksheet. Mr.Rease explained what we had to do and then let us work on it. We had to find the claims in both passages we read the day before, define some words and determine the authors purpose in each story. This was a pretty chill and easy assignment. I finished  early so I worked on my missing blogs and my vocabulary words that I missed from last week when I wasn’t here. 

 Secrets that have been kept from me. On the day of my quince everyone was acting very suspicious. In a quince you always get a surprise gift from one of your family members and I had told everyone that I really wanted a puppy. My mom had to them no to not get me a puppy which I was okay with because I knew it was a lot to take care of. But since they were acting suspicious I was suspecting that they had got me a dog. When it came time to have the mother and daughter dance my mom told me that my puppy waiting for me right after this dance.They had been keeping that secret for months leading up to that day.

Someone I forgot. I forgot about one of my uncles from my moms side. My family side of the family doesn’t live near us which means I usually never get to see them. My parents and my uncle planned everything out so they came to visit without us knowing. When my uncle got there and said hi to my family I had no ideas who he was because I hadn’t seen him in so long. I had to ask my mom and my mom reminded me who it was and I slowly started to remember from the last time I saw him which was a few years prior.

 Today we took notes on argument. We talked about it as a class and then we got a worksheet. The worksheet was 2 sided and it had a passage on each side. We read both sides and claim evidence and explain. One passage was for and one was against it .I liked how we talked about it as a class and how you walked us through each step and explained everything well.

 There’s been a lot of times when I’ve just had no fun. Sometimes at family parties when there’s only old people and my cousins are not there I am so bored. I just stir there looking at all of the parents having fun and I’m sitting there miserable not having fun at all. My type of fun is just being with a group of friends and talking and laughing. Most of time when I am not having fun I’m not in a good mood and just want to go home .

 Thank you so much for gift, I appreciate it so much. You didn’t have to waste your money but I love it so much. I’m very thankful to have a friend like you, that cares and love me like a sister. The gift looked like you put so much love and thought into it. The gift is not the most important thing the meaning of it means so much more to me than the gifts. We will forever be friends and I will always remover this beautiful gift.

 What is something I used to know how to do?I used to be very flexible and be able to do a split. I stopped working out and stretching so I lost all of my flexibility which I regret. If I were to go back I would’ve been more active because it would be better for me now. I’m trying to slowly get back into exercising more and being more active. 

 When was a time i knew I was in trouble? I knew I was in big trouble when I accidentally hit a curb and scratched my car a week after I got it. My parents had talked to me before I got my car to be careful driving and be very cautious not to crash or go over any curbs. I was being careless and was distracted listening to music and scratched my car. Later I  told my parents and had a serious talk to be more careful.

 what do i have to much of? I have way to much perfume from Victoria secret or bath and hey works. Every time I go shopping or see a perfume store always know I’m buying something. I love perfume because there’s so many different kinds of smells and it’s just exciting choosing which one you want to wear for the day. My whole family knows I love perfume as a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

When have I been inappropriately dressed for the occasion? I have been dresses inappropriately a couple of times. One time was when winter had just started and I decided not to wear a jacket and wear shorts, because I thought I wasn’t that cold but quickly realized it was way to cold to not have a jacket. But as I result to me making that decision not to wear a jacket I was left cold at my brothers soccer game. I learned not to do that anymore and always take a jacket just in case.
